KAY Commercial Realty is a full service commercial real estate company that specializes in leasing, property management, investment sales, consulting and development holdings, with over 40 years commercial real estate experience. 

William Klein is the principal of the Tinton Falls, NJ based KAY Commercial Realty. Prior to founding KAY Commercial Realty in 1994, Mr Klein served as Senior Vice President at Cranford, NJ based, third generation development firm with a commercial real estate portfolio exceeding 2.5 million square feet of industrial, office and retail assets. He was responsible for all asset management, incuding property management, leasing, acquisitions and construction activity. during his tenure at the firm, he identified and developed new acquisitions, redeveloped a number of older properties with the portfolio and secured over $50 million in leasing transactions. 

Mr. Klein also served as Vice President of Development for retail and urban properties at DKM Properties, Corp. While at DKM he was responsible for all aspects of development of a commercial real estate portfolio including the supervision of project approvals, directing property acquisitions, retail leasing and the direction of public affairs projects.

Mr. Klein also served as Vice President of operations at K. Hovnanian Investment Properties, Inc., where he directed all operations of the company's Investment Division. During his time at K. Hovnanian, he increased the company's commercial portfolio from 300,000 square feet to over 1.5 million square feet of assets, and created an in-house brokerage division to market the company's properties.

Mr. Klein is presently a member of the National Association of Office and Industrial Parks (NAIOP) and the Industrial and Office Real Estate Brokers Association (IOREBA) as well as the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC). He was formerly the Vice President of Finance, a member of the Board of Directions and co-chair of the Membership Committee of the New Jersey Chapter of NAIOP. He currently sits on the National NAIOP Industrial Development Forum and is a member of the educational faculty, teaching a course in Financial Analysis.
